When it was first suggested that I set up and host this site I had asked the members of The Sisters and Brothers of the Wall if they had any ideas as to a name for the new site. It was suggested that 'Knees in the Breeze' or some such 'sign off' would make for a good name.
When checking around the web for domain names that had NOT been used (Knees in the breeze will take you to a parachuting site) I got the proverbial wild hair while trying to think of a name wondering what's 'connected to the knee bone?' .........The shin bone... it amused me at the time as I registered for the domain name.... ShinnySideUp.
I suppose had I know this site was going to become a major player in the sites of Women motorcyclist and not with just the few people that followed me here, (and that know about my off center views of life) I would have done things a bit different. But it's done. So please... no more e-mails about my lack of spelling and grammar, or appearances of being unintelligent for I did mean to spell it that way.
